EXPERIENCE: 3-4 years as Assistant Housekeeping Manager
OTHER QUALIFICATION:
-Communication: Good in English Communication, other languages would be advantage
-Computer Office: Open Office, Microsoft Office, and other would be advantage
-Pleasant personality
-Attention to details
KEYS RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. To assist the Director of Housekeeping in all aspects to the Housekeeping Operation.
2. To compile and pot daily work schedules.
3. To distribute daily assignments to Assistant Housekeeping Manager.
4. To assist in training of all associates and refresher courses for existing personnel.
5. To inspect entire hotel premises as frequently as possible, to ensure all areas are kept clean and in satisfactory condition.
6. To spot check vacant and occupied guest rooms and some area of the public area.
7. To inspect all VIP and long-staying guest rooms and show rooms.
8. To maintain proper record and control procedures of lost and found items.
9. To oversee the department in the absence of the Director of Housekeeping.
10. To perform other duties as assigned by Director of Housekeeping.
ADMINISTRATION
1. To screen and acknowledge daily work schedules
2. To conduct daily briefing and de-briefing in the absence of the Director of Housekeeping.
3. To ensure that an effective duty assigned to the sufficiency of manpower in accordance to volume of business.
4. To establish two-way communication with related departments.
5. To set as good samples to communicate effectively with guests, subordinates, immediate supervisors and colleagues.
6. To manage time effectively by meeting deadlines on time.
7. To administer personnel action on leaves & overtime requests, disciplinary actions and commendations.
8. To identify and solve problems in a professional manner.
9. To acknowledge logbook and ensures that each recorded problems is attended.
10. To ensure that consumption reports, inventories, lost & found logbooks are handled according to the policies and procedures.
